Stepan
Stepan is 15 years old and has cerebral palsy and spastic tetraparesis. In his best teenage years, the boy is forced to fight with a diagnosis that brings him suffering every day!
Gabriel dreams of getting to know this world without limitations and disappointment. The boy has an autistic spectrum disorder and delayed speech development. These diagnoses prevent the child from enjoying ordinary joys, communicating with peers, and expressing their emotions. And the war scares little Gabriel very much and makes him withdraw even more into himself.
Gabriel likes to study English, watch scientific videos, play with cars, plasticine, explore pictures in books. The boy likes to draw with paints, pencils or felt-tip pens. He loves active games outside and riding the bus or trolleybus. But when something doesn’t work out for him, or something goes wrong, Gabriel has tantrums that greatly affect his well-being and emotions. He often has difficulty communicating with peers and adults, eats poorly, and cannot concentrate on his studies. Now, due to the martial law, the boy does not go to kindergarten and spends time with his parents and grandmother. Every day without rehabilitation worsens Gabriel’s condition and distances him from a normal, happy childhood.
